Answer have supported Bravura for the past 7 years in providing expert resource to enable them to deliver, customise and integrate Sonata within the corporate infrastructure of their clients. These include Prudential, Fidelity Investments, Aviva, Royal London, Nucleus Financial and Scottish Friendly Assurance.

The Answer

Answer supplied Technical Consultant/Technical Architecture, Project Managers and agile development resource to support the implementations. In nearly all of these implementations Sonata is one component in a wider transformation project. Our consultants and developers worked closely with Bravura’s clients to ensure an integrated solution met their needs.

During the course of the 7 years we have played a major part in the success and growth of these platforms. Our deep engineering and systems integration heritage coupled with our agile delivery approach has enabled us to deliver strong business outcomes in a very complex enterprise IT landscape.

  • We designed and delivered the interfaces between Sonata and corporate document management systems and document stores.
  • Delivered front end widgets for Adviser facing portals to enable users to apply for and manage their ISA and Pension accounts online. These were delivered as part of a java application which was customised and tailored for client implementation.
  • Integrated to the corporate workflow management tool, which orchestrated workflows across a number of corporate IT systems including CRM, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Trading/Dealing systems, and Document Management Systems.
  • Worked collaboratively with business users to define solutions for both front-end (Advisor facing) and back-end (administration) changes met not only the business need but provided an improved user experience.
  • Designed, extended and adapted Sonata integration capabilities to ensure Sonata could interact with other systems via the corporate enterprise service bus. This involved working with a number of different ESB providers (Tibco, Fuse), and Message (SOAP, REST, plus bespoke trading messages) and Queue (JMS, AMQ) technologies.
  • Defined and executed performance tests to ensure the integrated solution meets the NFRs.
